There may be a potential problem with screen and book both cuing the learner, causing the learner to ask "which should I work with? A "Touch Me" direction on computer screen will reduce potential confusion.
According to external reviewer, Dr. James Gall, this experience would be more motivating and effective if the room were designed as a "Syllabus Hall of Fame" with pictures and artifacts of good syllabi throughout UNC. Showing similar syllabi uses a "concept" instructional strategy, the concept generated being "the components of effective syllabi."
